I still wonder if there is something in the "winter" fuel blend. I had no problems until this fall, then me and a few friends all developed the problem at the same time. Almost uncanny.
My vette did this last Aug. on a long trip, and had not done it since. The problem reappeared this past weekend, when it did it twice on a 50 mile trip.
Seems odd..

This happened to my neighbor's '03 Z also, except, it took the fuel pump as well. This happened on his way home from FL, just a little north of Atlanta. Stranded him for 4 days since there was no fuel pump anywhere in the state of GA, so the Chevy dealer had to send one in from MI. I'm gonna have to watch mine.

Happens intermittently to me, first time I was between exits in West Texas and darn near had a heart attack, made it to the gas station and the thing was still full, just one of those endearing Corvette qualities.
