which handheld programmer is the best for a
98 A4 that's stock with only a Z06 air lid and titanium exhaust?

I like the Predator. Mine was easy to install, and easy to use after the fact.
And seat of the pants difference is unmistakeable. :steering: :cool:

as for self contained hand-held programmers; I believe the Predator and Hypertech are the only two available right now.

i would say handheld only much much less better than LS1-edit/tuner.

Hmmm...lets see... ~$400 for a predator or ~$8,000 for LS1Edit?? Sorry guys, but I just don't see it practical to *purchase* LS1Edit....you could get a beast of a motor for that and let someone else worry about tuning it....
