It must have been out of their league because it still was squeaking when I picked it up.
Thanks Z06ufgrad2002 for your old post! I just fixed the same squeek on my 00 vert I bought used a month or so ago. Almost sounded like it was coming from the guide, but did your procedure and fixed it. The forum has yet to let me down!

Default My experience.......

Had a serve sound once I did a shock upgrade. Rattle, shatting, or banging on rough roads or hit a bump from the rear. Jack the car & couldn't figure it out. Lowered & drove for a couple of days things thinking the sport shocks & the car would get use to one another. Did a another visible inspection & saw on the left side that there was a little space between the bushings & shock on the left side. wasn't flush. Replaced the bushing with the oem, sound gone.

Other sound was a rattle in the front. One sound was in the front vent over the console. Adjusted it & by turning it until I felt it tighten or felt resistance. Haven't replaced the vent yet, but sound is gone. I found another sound in the front bezel around the console. I must have popped off a piece that fills up one of the connecting holes while doing a stereo upgrade. Places a little rubber bumper there, sound gone.

Check the hood, mine sounded like in the dash and it was my hood banging around. Use the soft side of your fist and hit right around where the latches are. If it bangs, then that may be part of the problem. I couldnt adjust my latches to get rid of the sound, so I wrapped the striker in electrical tape, its solved it so far....

I have an intermittant rattle/buzz from the center console area. It usually occurs at highway speeds on concrete roads. I think it is resonance related and have just about isolated it to been vibration between the inner and outer ash tray doors.
Anyone have anything similar?

Yes, and I isolated it down to the e-brake release button. Next time it buzzes, grab it and see if the buz goes away. Havent quite figured out how to fix that though.

Mine is the rearview mirror. I can hold it and the rattle goes away but it only does it on bass heavy songs so I just turn the volume down a little.

Passenger seat belt retractor in my 99 coupe is not functioning properly. Rough pulling belt it out and have to work the ratchet to get it back in retracted position. Seems as though the axle is not seated properly...Any one with an idea?
