Got some coffee, went out turned the key to 'ON' and POW the battery blew up.

after reading horror stories on the boards about batteries leaking, I changed my '02 about 6 months with a red top optima. I only had 14K miles and maybe 2 years ownership..... but why chance it for a $100 bucks. :smash:

Ya,but the "LOW SPEED" cup holder was able to withstand the blast from the battery and hang on to the coffee :D :D :D :D :lolg: :rofl:

Why are all these 02 batteries going south all in the sudden? I think I am going to simply pull mine in the spring and put in an Optima. I don't want to be one of the statistics that get stuck, or worse, has the stupid thing blow up in the car. :eek: :leaving:
I replaced the AGM with an optima the 2nd day I had my 03.
Just for peace of mind.
