Help! Leaking trunk lid?
I cleaning out my car to was it today and noticed the passenger side storage well carpet is wet. My car is a 2000 FRC. Anyone ever heard of this or have any advice? Trying to prevent a mildew-mobile. Thanks :seeya

There was a problem with some C5's when not enough sealer was applied at the factory to the tub where it joined the body, and water could leak into the tubs through the holes where the black screws are installed. You probably will have to do a water test to determine where it is leaking, or see if there are water stains which would show you the entry point. The cure was to remove the black screws and add more sealer. Good luck.
