Default Coil-overs vs. single mono springs

Can you experienced moterheads let a newbie know what pros / cons etc. there might be? I'm considering purchase & having these installed.

There have been unsettling feelings on rare occasions with these mono springs communicating movement to the other side!

What little I know is:
More weight - ?

Car is 2000 Convertible - I ususally ride with the suspension setting on "PERFORMANCE" - and don't use the other two settings at all.

Thanks for your help!

Spring rates are easier to change with the coilovers. Springs are cheaper but then you may need shocks too. Then the difference is not that great dollar wise. LGM has a nice coil-over package. I went the spring route before I knew about the LGM package. I had to swap the spring rates a few times which is work and get my shocks revalved. What is you intenion for the car as far as use? You can improve the handling in otherways first. Drop in the road race section :D Depends how much you want to spend also. Your in TX so go see LGM and take a ride in a coilover package befire you spend the $$

Thanks John-

I will take your suggestion and visit LGM - been wanting to do that anyway!

I know I'll want stuff - so haven't gone because my dollars are all spent lately!

We will mostly enjoy spirited street driving - occasional auto-x & drag strip. Lusting after major mods - and someday will do it.

Might be moving to Indiana soon - so after house purchase .. etc.

Hi,
From Denton, take 380 over to 78 south to Wylie. 1/2 mile south of intersection of 544 and 78, on the east side of 78.

Stop by any time.
