Squeeking Steering wheel...is there a TSB on this?
I know I've heard of a few C5 steering wheels making noise. I believe my car actually had the issue fixed by the previous owner, but now the noise is returning. Kinda annoying...anybody fixed this? C5-Tech maybe has come across this before?

I think it has been isolated to one of two of the steering shaft bushings. I know mine is coming from the upper one. Unfortunately I cant tell you how to fix it - but I am going under the dash this weekend. Its driving me :crazy:

Common problem...You need to lube the lower column nylon bushing or replace it.The bushing is located in the rubber grommet in the fire wall and is accessed from under the hood.

Mine turned out to be the upper bushing. Spray some lithium grease where the shaft turns in the white nylon bushing. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=727771
