Washguy--guess I'm stupid too because I was wondering the same thing--we are missing something here and I think it is time for FAST to do a post and defend their position or tell us how to tune or apply the damn thing they have obviously worked out some kinks or have some tuning tips etc--In fact I am going to start a post and page them--

J-Rod, why did you not do this on a Wideband??
I know for a fact that when I upgraded to the LS6 Intake Manifold I ran too lean at WOT and had to use my LS1-Edit to bring me back to spec.. It Woke it right up.

One cannot assume the PCM will learn on it's own for bolt on mods that affect airflow..Learning does not matter at this point because the pcm will never learn a thing at WOT... And that is all the Dyno is reading..WOT..

I'd be surprised if it turns out the car with the FAST intake still maintained a perfect WOT A/F..

Hi Neptune....Great idea!....I know everyone would like to see what FAST
has to say. I wouldnt bet the farm that the 90tb is going to do great wonders for it either. Wash

Dan--from what I understand the ports are set up to match stock ports but FAST marked the ports so you would know how much you can port it yourself--so I doubt that is the problem--but if the intake and TB are supplying a lot more air it could be running extremely lean, however J-rod is an old hand with these motors and I doubt very seriously something this obvious would have been overlooked--
