Well with the C6 having an intake manifold that flow's 30% better than the LS1 and it comes with a 90mm throttle body, that might just kill all the R&D and hype. As far as I know the LS2 manifold and TB will bolt up. If this is all true, then the FAST Manifold will only be worth buying for it's ablility to become a direct port N20 setup and it's ability to be ported.

Something to be said for that--my local dealer is noted for his corvette sales I will start looking into the possiblility of a setup--

I was wanting to try one on my cam only car, but it's a big investment in something that hasn't proven itself. I've tuned many cars, so I am sure I could optimize the intake with my car, just worried about buying a nice paper weight when it would be good down payment on heads that I know would give me more power.

So here is a copy of the e-mail I just recieved from FAST.

"We do not have a 90mm throttle body ready for the Corvette yet. We are currently working on the throttle body for the Vette but are in the early stages. We do have both the 78mm and 90mm intakes ready now. If you have any other questions let me know. Mike (FAST) "

So we wait.... :yesnod: I have replied with a few questions ..I will share with the membership..

Does FAST have the 90mm TB available for the F body? I know there are plenty of F bodies out there with big inch strokers. It seems hard to believe that some of those guys have not tested the 90mm set up. But then it seems unbelievable that a stock Z06 or H/C car hasn't been tested with the 78mm intake as TB. Where are the test results. You would think that is they worked FAST would have released test results.

Again ..here is a reply from Mike at FAST on that exact question..:yesnod:

"We do have a 90mm throttle body for the Camaro, etc but not for the fly-by-wire design yet. It is in the works. We have check marks in the runners of the intake to let you know how much it can be ported. I recommend matching the intake runners to the runners in the head for best results. Most applications will not need any porting. The next batch of intakes will be shipped next week. Talk to you soon."
