The transgo is the only way to go! :yesnod: It makes the shifts firm and quickwhen needed and you don't have to use high line pressure to shift which is a big help on the tranny.
yes torch red trying to get where you are  just wanted to make sure the trans shift was worth it along with the new 342's i am about to get installed
Bark?....It will kick you in the AZZ like a truck hit you from behind...Relax..You will LOVE it and wonder why you waited so long. :yesnod:
One piece of advice ..get a qualified trans tech to install it!! :yesnod: If you have a problem finding one call transgo for a referral in you area..
thanxs vstella i have a good mechanic he has lots of experience working on c5's btw the way your car is awesome  i have seen it in serveral videos
I got it installed when, and I like it. I had it set for street/strip. I would recommend doing this mod with a torque converter and rear gears of 3.42.
This will make you quite a bit faster, and the SOP much greater.
Excelent choice!!! One word of caution though!! Make SURE you do not have the line pressure increased any more than 15% by programing!!! This combined with the increase that is acomplished manually by the shift kit can cause spikes of line pressure that cause pressure to blow by the seal and momentary slippage of the 2-3 clutch pak. Burns it up in no time.
With the transgo you should need very little programed line pressure increase since the Transgo does a good job by it's self!!
