I made a filler with some large diameter aquarium hose and a funnel. I held the end inplace while I had my buddy pour the thick and heavy oil into it. It took a while, but we warmed the oil by putting the containers in hot water first for about 15 mins. It worked out pretty well.
i cut up a garden hose and then used a funnel, but i was by myself doing it and the hose slipped and dumped that thick gear oil in my face and hair. i'll tell ya what, the gear oil dont taste like chicken :banghead:

 DAYUM! Sounds like you need some Amsoil series 2000 75w90 in it.
Pours like motor oil.
They make a little hand pump for filling the lower units on inboar/outboard boat motors. It works great with gear oil (thick) as it has to be pumped up into the unit. Sell them a t Wal-mart for a few bucks. Fits in a oil bottle and screws on.
Has anybody tried one of these? Do you guys think that would work?
I just attach around 18" of clear tubing to the bottle of fluid and squeeze it into the carrier. I can get the entire bottles worth in (sans the tubing volume).
