DTE-Vortech S/C Performance Package Special...
Our Vortech S/C Performance Package includes some unique improvements/enhancements that are exclusive only to DTE and we’ve integrated better fasteners/components to our installations that you won’t find in the standard “run of the mill” S/C kit. Drivability and S/C operation are O.E. smooth/quiet and fuel mileage is relatively unaffected. This package does not require the use of an aftermarket hood. :)
We believe the concept of aftermarket supercharging should be approached with the engineering goal of integrating the S/C into the vehicle so that it functions and appears as if the installed package is as clean as if it was offered that way from the manufacturer in both fit and finish.
Installation time is approx. 2 weeks from vehicle delivery and digital photos are also taken during the installation and sent to the customer for their own personal records. LS1 systems are set to 7.5 psi, LS6 systems are set to 6.5 psi and respective power output levels displayed below reflect testing at DTE with a completely stock vehicle.

BTW Phil, how soon till I get them 3.90s? Perfect weather for installing 'em :yesnod:
3 Q's, please...
1) could we see a typical dyno sheet to look at the actual curves, and
2) can the LS-1 package be had with a bit less boost--say 5.5-6.0 pounds,
3) typical oil temp in 90 degree weather?
Thanks in advance. :yesnod:
1) I've saved some past dyno runs in .bitmap form for our webmsater to post onto our website, so hopefully, he'll update them tonight.
2) I suppose one could, but why would you want to? That will only reduce power drastically and the engine isn't overtaxed as it is w/ the manifold pressure set as Vortech delivers it due the LS1's lower C.R. The special pricing offered does not include any modifications of the package as we have it listed.
3) 205-209 has been the average.
HTH's :)
Regards,
Phil
Thanks for the reply.
But, am I missing something? Is there something that makes the Z06 boost different from the L-1 that simply wouldn't be a simple pulley/belt change combo? I don't know, just asking?
As to why... I've lots of "toys" and the C-5's my daily driver (everyday/everywhere); I'd like some power improvement but I don't have to display my cajones with it.
Thanks, again.
