My remote keyless entry doesn't work all the time. I've got a 2000 Vert. Did the matching transmitter, resynchronized, replaced battery. Still only works off and on. Never know when its going to work. Anyone had this problem?
Did you just get the car, or have you had it a while and this problem just started after a few years of ownership??
Do you have another key fob to operate for a while to see if its the transmitter or the receiver problem??
I had a 2000 Coupe, and you had to be within 5 feet of the driver's door, or it wouldn't work. So, are you trying to use the system at a distance beyond 5 feet or from the passenger side??
Try taking the battery out of the opener and clean the contacts with the eraser on a lead pencil. The contacts may be dirty.Worth a try.My door opener had to be replaced.(1) worked perfectly, the other took a dump. They aren't cheap, mine ran $105 at the agency. :chevy :chevy :flag :chevy :chevy
