Has anyone experienced flat spots on their tires after not moving their car for months? I have Goodyear F1 GS Non-Run Flats on my C5 and it has not been driven since mid December. I'm told that the old bias-ply tires would do this, but a modern radial will not be affected by long periods of non-use.
Re: Tire Flat Spots From Storage? (torch red ryder)
radials flat spot, too.inflated my tires to 40 psi, before i put the car away.just took it out today, pulled them down to 30psi,they were flat spotted until after 2-3 miles of driving.

Thanks, it looks like there's no permanent flat spotting from months of storage. That's good because this is the longest I've not started my Corvette. This winter sux.

I drive mine most of the winter. Snow over a couple of inches about stops it on summer tires. In a pinch you can do the "tractor pull" thing and spin the wheels about 40-50 mph (traction off, of course) It'll then move fairly well thru a few inches, even with the air dam plowing a little. Beats walking home!
Yes, the tires flat spot from sitting in the cold, but as other said, that goes away in a few miles or less. Cold drops the pressure quite a bit you will notice.
