How do the tires handle windy roads and at high-speed on the freeways?
The rear GY F1 Supercar tires are close to wear bars now. I'm planning to tub, but not ready to spring for a new set of wheels. I'll do 295/35s tires for now. I'm not sure if the tires got harder and slippery or if it's my latest mods, but new tires are needed.

If your only going 295s, then why not just get the G-Force KDs... They are IMHO by far the best handleing tire out there... Onl if they made then bigger then 295, then they would get more recognition :yesnod:

Great handling tire indeed but what about the straight line traction he will sacrifice over the drag radials? He's got some power going on there, he'd fry G-Force KDs from a dead stop but will of course give up some cornering ability on the drag radials.
I'd get the DRs. :yesnod:

i run the 315 dr on 10.5 rim for the street @30 psi. its well worth it. i doubt i will ever go back to normal tires. they hook so well its like having a new toy all over again. on the high way over 130 is very smooshy in the rear(like a 76 caddy)get them!

DO the drag radials as they stick great and handle decent for such a sticky tire. If you plan on taking your car on the Daytona 500 Raceway at 170mph then the drag radials are not the tire for you but for overall streetablitly, straight line acceleration and few twisties they can't be beat as i have about 5K miles on my 315s with 0 issues!!!!
Re: How do BFG g-Force Drag Radials handle? (blu00rdstr)
The F1s are FAR superior to the g-Force in the turns. The g-Force tires definitely hook better though. The g-Forces are very sloppy through turns. You can actually feel the tire roll. I plan to get a second set of wheels. Run F1s daily, then G-Forces at the track.

I run 345s in the back with stock size RFs in the front..............no issues at all when its dry. Corners are predictable and it rides nice.
Maybe you should consider the Nitto DR 305-35-18. If your rim size is right (10-12") that would be the deal IMHO. 5/32 tread for wet traction and dry is good. I like Nittos, either street or DRs
I would buy them for mine but nothing close to a 345 yet.........

:lurk: I have GY F1 Supercars all the way around now. The supercharger is going on next week, and I know I'll need some more grip in the rear. I'm thinking about BFG DR's. I only drive on the sunny days.
