They say 100K, but if you are running a 99 I would do it this year. Make sure you use the Texaco Dexcool, not the Prestone. Last I knew, Prestone didn't meet GM specifications. You can get it pretty cheap at Wal Mart. Also, you can get distilled water there for $0.58 per gallon to mix with the Dexcool and use for the flush.

:iagree: I changed mine on my 98 coupe after 76,000 miles. Remember.....Dexcool and distilled water.
According to owner's manual you should do it at 5 years or 150,000 miles whichever comes first. I changed my 98 C5 out at 5 years. Coolant was so clean, that I didn't even flush. Shop manual says if coolant is clean you don't need to flush. I drained out within 1 1/2 quarts of capacity anyway.
Ditto on Blue Thunder. I changed at 50,000, clean and clear, so I did not flush. Drain slowly so you get most of it out. I got all but about 1 1/2 qts. out. Use only Texaco and distilled water. Good Luck ! :chevy :seeya
