FLP Level 5 tranny is ordered......
Today I decided to order my FLP tranny. And went ahead with the Level 5. I figured I might as well get ready for my future mods. I have been watching some videos of cars with hard shifting trannys(Face,LBB,etc) and I think I will pickup some ET left on the table will slow shifts.
If this cold air hangs out in Texas :rolleyes: I think there might be 10.4x in the car. :eek: :chevy

2800ish on the price. And FLP was the only one I looked at. With all the positive comments on all the boards, and with a few phone calls they had me sold. This one is good to 700+ rwhp, so I need to find more H.P. :lol:

Great choice ROGER you will love that TRANNY and i just had FLP install me the same LEVEL 5 tranny this past Christmas for my 427 car!!!! Now we are both running the same tranny and the YANK Prothruster 4000 converter. These will both be a winning combination no doubt!:D CHUCK JOHNSON of FLP REALLY KNOWS HIS TRANNYS and build one HECK of a High Performance A4 Transmission!!!! :cheers: :chevy :steering:

I picked Mitch & Chucks brain a little when I was there in December "visiting" :D
They tied my hands together so I couldn't take any spare parts from Roadster's car :eek: :lol:
Did you get those 345's on there yet :D

:cheers: :lol: Nah, will stick with my 315 bfgs for everyday street use (have to pay off that darn C5R Block:D) to be shared with equal time in the summer with my ccws with et streets and skinnines mounted as shown in the pics. in my sig!!! :cheers:

If I remember when I get home, I'll post what the sales slip said what you get for the Level V upgrade.
I wanted to only spend money once for this upgrade and if it meant some more cash for a beefier tranny (for my last major mod), then it would be wise to do it now.

The weather was just too good for me not to play a little yesterday in CHicago (sunday 2/22/04) and since i haven't had my baby out (427 Vert) in 7 weeks, i swang by and hooked up with fellow C5 vette brothers, and we went for a little power run in my BABY!!!! She DROVE like a CHAMP and the 1/2 and 2/3 WOT shifts were perfect with the new FLP Level 5 Tranny. Man, i hope that MARCH stays snow and iceless b/c if it does my car SEASON is JUST ABOUT HERE!!!!!! NOW, if we could just skip March and go right to APRIL LIFE WOULD BE REALLY GOOD!!! Also, took out the Z06 last week on saturday as the weather was decent and i was all the rest of the afternoon (forgot how quick my stock motored warrantied road trip RELIABLE C5 was) with those 4.10 gears!!!! :cheers:
