Randy, welcome to the forum........sorry to say, I've never heard of DRM, what is it you offer for us that are not in driving distance to MN ? Please hold the flames, it's a legit question to ask all new supporting vendors so we can help support them.

DRM is an AWSOME tuner... For those of you that saw that video where a
"Low 13 second DSM runs into a Ligenfelter corvette"... Well FYI, it was a DRM vette, not ligenfelter... Just an example fo what they can do... I think that vette had a Z07 badge on the sides. So it was the MTI 427 package.

The badge on the side said "Z51R". The car has Rippie's Top End heads and cam package.

Welcome to Doug and the gang from a very happy customer.

-Rob
Must be a different video then. My bad.

I'm also interested in the brake cooling ducts if there's a g.p. Are they different from the ones factory installed on my Z06?

TT

The brake ducts are way different from the stock Z06. We have pictures on our web site. http://www.dougrippie.com . About the group purchance on the ducts, are cost is too high. The amount of ducts that we have to sell to pay for the mold is like XX,XXX maybe. Us at DRM and many other duct owners think that $200.00 is fair because of the great improvment. Rotors and pads last longer and run better, pads and rotors aren't cheap.

Thanks
Randy

We are building shocks for the slammed vette. That's great that West Coast Corvettes and us can help each other in building a package like this. They informed us that there is a market for a slammed down in the weeds package. I can't wait until they come in the door. I can't wait because with are valving, knollenge on spring rates and track tested hardware your car should be ready for the Saturday night cruise. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks
Randy Rippie

Great. I only did the back and never did the front with the 2" shorter springs and shock bodies. I lowered the front even more and the ride is terrible. I'll be ordering the fronts from you to get the travel back. Assuming I have plenty of suspension travel, Is there anything else that could cause a "MULLETT, MINI TRUCK RIDE" You know, the bouncing. I'm thinking its because the front is the regular length. You can see by my pic how low it is. Its actually a little lower from settleing. :flag

I think I just picked up on your sarcasim about the Saturday night cruise thing! Something tells you think its a joke to have the car so low, is this true? The corvette race cars are this low, which is why I'm suprised you guys never had a package for the street.

I don't think it's a joke to have your car down like that. I think it looks great. Most track-street cars we have built are higher than what you are running. I didn't mean to be rude with the Saturday night cruise thing. I was just saying that it looks low and mean. Sorry I came off like that.
