Does the check engine light pull timing
I removed my cats and I installed the o2 sims awhile back. Every now and then I get the check engine light. But I usually just reset it while driving and it doesnt come back on. But when it is on is the ecu pulling timing out. I know on my buddies mustang he did the same and he has the check engine light on and he said it is pulling 5 degrees out on his car.

I think it depends on the codes.
I remember that clearing the codes at the track one time netted me 3mph. Might just have been dumb luck.
