COLUMN LOCK BYPASS... QUESTION ABOUT AFTER INSTALLATION...
My Bypass will be here on Monday...I just got the "Service Column Lock" message...and the car will still untill the bypass is installed...
The question that I have is... Will the "Service Column Lock" Message still appear after the installation is complete... or will it go away after I simply hit the reset button? OR... Is there more to it?

I was in a similar situation when I did mine. I installed the CLB, and the message went away. However, if it does not, you may need to remove and replace the #25 fuse. That should clear the message for good.
I do believe the instructions with the CLB may say that as well.

The chances of a column lock locking up while driving are probably 1 in a million. The chances of getting the column lock to stick on you at some point when the car is still is probably 1 in 10.
And the info above is correct. You'll almost definitly need to pull fuse #25 before or after the install of the bypass to clear the code, and it shouldnt return.
