removing the catalytic convertor?

I heart that after removing the catalytic convertor the engine is gone worse and the engine can't reply for the accelerations to kick-downs!!!can you explain me if there are disadvantages?

The exhaust is going to stink pretty bad if you take the cats off, I removed mine, and had it re-tuned, but I am now considering putting them back on.

I removed my cats and have corsa indy mufflers... does not smell at all. I have a good tune, but my off road pipes were welded very well.
Other guy, go back and have your off road pipes re-welded with some skills,

DID YOU NOTICE A LOSS OF TORQUE, MINE FELT LIKE IT INCREASED BUT THE CAR ONLY HAD A FEW MILES ON IT WHEN I REMOVED THE CATS. :confused:
