I found this on GM parts direct. It is listed as a C5R Road Race cam. http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...umber=88958606

251 exhaust and 239 intake

Ummm to make it in simple terms -- that cam is HUGGEEE

251/239 .570/.570 is enormous. The new Thunder Racing T-Rex cam is a 242 if that puts it in perspective. I dont think you could use that cam in any normal streetable applications, your idle is going to be horrible, and its going to lope like an old school 502ci.

Would the pistons even clear the valves with that much lift?

239*/251*, 106, .570"- Not a C5R cam. It's the Grand Am cam developed for World Challenge Cup cars. Does require notched pistons. I have it. Idles well at 1200 rpm. No numbers yet. I posted a sound/video clip, awhile back, of it at idle. FWIW.
