Sounds like a Great time to me Redgar! I wish i could have went. Nothin like a weekend of drag racing. After so many runs you reach a point where you know what your best is or was at that particular track and its fruitless beating up your car anymore. Not bashing brent but it seems he was hot lappin just to beat J-Rods time to me. I can understand the da going bad as the day went on but what if he had beaten J-Rods time on any of those runs? Would that have counted in the 5 passes? Seems a little on sided to me. :cheers: BTW if thats a slug i'll buy it! :yesnod: :lol:

I've seen the video and here it is: drag racing is all out taking what you can get. J-rod sleep so he got served but ran really strong. Who cares if a car puts down this or that on the dyno, what's important is who crosses the finish line FIRST, period. Go to any street racing for serious money like in Chicago which is where I spent many years watching and competing in the street racing scene; those boys do not give a crap about your dyno sheet, put it on the line and race it for some Benjamins or take it to the track on grudge nights and see what happens, again, for some moolah. Let's stop all this horsepower/dyno this or MPH that...who gets there first wins point blank. Lastly, I do not do business with neither shop as I think they're both over priced. Try doing it yourself and see how easy it really is. :yesnod:

Just a note on the lights, for a pro tree they gave a lot of time. You ever see a pro tree on TV? As soon as teh second stages, the lights go, the track here at least let both guys get fully staged before he started the tree.
Also, my slugass car ran identical in both lanes, stock horsepower rewards consistency, consistency=wins.

The fact that you can not see the PRO TREE that being used is part of the issue. :rolleyes: The fact that JRod was not ready is a real issue. The cars were staged very quickly by the track staff for many of the match races with inadequate time to prepare ..IMHO:rolleyes: The vast majority of the day's runs were SOLO!!:yesnod:No one was paying attention to the lights[/b]:nono:..and I WAS THERE also taking video. When I post the videos from a different angle you will see what I mean.
