Thanx for the VIDS!

Man Brent can get outta the hole. 127 traps not bad, everyone seemed to be running slower too.

It has already been explained several times but you probably didnt see it because you had your head up Cartek's butt.

For the last time, I have no affiliation with either side but Jrod clearly explained what happened when he went up against Brent. He got holeshotted by Brent to Brent's credit. In his haste to try and catch Brent, he did not have a clean/good run. If you ever went to the track, maybe you would know that.

The car with the most hp will always pull the other guy given similar combos.
Now, back to the original question. The MPHs are fairly spread apart, yet the dyno numbers are the same. Then again, we haven't seen all the runs yet. According to Julio's post, there was quite a difference overall. Thats hard to dispute.

Just so we clear this up, I've got quite an extensive drag racing background. I would recommend you don't make references to people you don't know. Its just not cool. Also, while I spent 2 of my 10 years of active military service in Texas, you were probably there as a 10 year old watching me race. :smash:

The best HP package = CARTEK, as indicated by MPH. Best ET = LG. Now, which package would you prefer? The 123 or the 127?? Don't go hide in another post. If these were the only two avail, which would you want? I've watched this forum for some time, and my answer is in my sig.

That is an easy qustion to answer......

I would take LG's.....I would want the faster ET. If I wanted MPH I would buy a bike or a Supra!

For the cost of your package you could have both.

Just a note on the track there.

I made almost 30 passes in the three days I was there.

I was told by another participant on Saturday that he observed his MPH was 2 MPH higher in the right lane than the left. In back to back runs, and in every time slip I have, the right lanes is clearly calling back 2 MPH quicker than the left. I talked to other drivers who verified the same thing.

...Jrod clearly explained what happened when he went up against Brent. He got holeshotted by Brent to Brent's credit. ... kumar75150
The fact that you can not see the PRO TREE that being used is part of the issue. The fact that JRod was not ready is a real issue. The cars were staged very quickly by the track staff for many of the match races with inadequate time to prepare ..IMHO:rolleyes: The vast majority of the day's runs were SOLO!!:yesnod:No one was paying attention to the lights[/b]:nono:..and I WAS THERE also taking video. When I post the videos from a different angle you will see what I mean.

Not taking anything away from Brent..He was great ALL DAY..but so was JRod..:smash:Truthfully, if they had a properly staged race..it would have been a pick'em..within thousanths of a second.. :yesnod:

P.S. .....Frank..see what happens when you convert a mpeg file to wmv..
 That was a nice video but was so distorted when you converted fron the original format....Digital is the ONLY way to go ..Thanks for the clip :D

Wow, now thats interesting! Sounds like they have a few beams that need calibrating or moved after measuring out the track. Doesn't sound like ( how can i say it ) top notch major track with the scale trouble and now this. :nonod:

:iagree: I have many times gotten quick treed running a pro tree without being ready. Its hell when you just get staged and they go off when your still idling.  I'm not bashing cartek or brent either but as i said in another post its all about the likelyhood of a stacked deck coming into play. I see Redgar made about 30 runs also ( which is fine ) however when the rules state 5 you should of had to state before the run whether it was to count towards the 5. The rest was or should have been test & tune - having fun runs.

Dave my 30 runs were over three days not just Sunday.

By the time Sunday had rolled around I had made well over 20 so I was saving the car and more importantly the tires on Sunday since I was not beating anybody with my slug

Hey REDGAR....Pretty good running slug. Maybe you're not the fastest in your class, but you always run consistant....and do well in the brackets. 30 runs in one weekend.....See you at Englishtown.
