Default HP estimates??

Well, I decided to put a cam and headers in my 2000 A4 Vert. Last fall I put on a Blackwing, a B&B catback, changed to 3.42s and dynod 309 hp.

Goin with a 228 cam, a Z06 intake along with Kooks headers and high flow cats.

What ya think the final hp results will be after the tune?? Should be fun!

Changin the converter also by the way..

359 to 365.....how big of a stall will you use, it could show lower numbers with a big stall.

I love to play when I drive. I am gonna use a converter which most of you would consider a tad conservative, a 3000. 99 % of my driving will be on the street. I would like to hit the track one time to see what it's like.

Did lots of street racing in my youth..

Hell to grow up!! (well sorta)

;)

I will be able to give you a very good idea Saturday. My buddy is taking his to the dyno for tuning. 2002 vert, Kooks headers, Vararam, TSP 228 cam and 3.73 gears. I have a 222 cam in my MN6 and dynod at 382, his car feels stronger than mine.

I would love to know what you guys are smoking! He will pickup maybe 35 rwhp with a 228 cam and all the bolt ons. Gary and I have gone the cam route and I would say 340-350 tops. Hell I have some awesome heads and only dyno 371.

:skep: :skep:
I put down 328 with just a Z06 intake and Stingers. The headers should give him about 15 HP, and even a conservative 25 hp from the cam would be easily 370rwhp with his configuration...

I HAVE 03 VETTE CONVRT. WITH TSP 231 237 PATRIOT STAGE II LS6 STYLE
LG OFFRDS VARARAM AND 160 STAT AND CARTEK TUNE AND BIG TCI 3800
DYNOED LOCK UP 417RWHP. BTW STOCK GEAR 3:15 STOCK TB STOCK PULLEY.
WITH THAT SAID YOUR CAR SHOULD BE PRETTY CLOSE AS THAT 228 GIVES UP APPROX. 6 TO 10 RWHP. THAT 3000 STALL WILL RUIN THE WAY YOUR CAR PERFORMS!! THAT CAM IS TOO BIG FOR SUCH A SMALL STALL.
I KNOW THIS CAUSE I HAD 3000 WITH MY CAM AND THEN BLEW TRANNY AT THAT TIME I RESTALLED TO 3800 AND I GOOTA TELL YOU THE CAR IS ABSOLUTELY AN ANIMAL NOW!!!
YOU MUST HAVE THE PROPER SHIFT EXTENSION TO WORK PROPERLY!! ASK BRIAN AT TSP HE'LL TELL YA!!!

SORRY FOR ALL CAPS

BTW UNLOCKED YOULL BE WITH SMALL STALL 370 TO 375

IF YOU WANT IM ME :auto: :auto: :auto: :auto: :auto:
