They really open the car up!!!!! Car really pulls in the upper RPMs. I am curious to see how much power I gained. We did a before dyno but when we tried to do an after dyno, my clutch started slipping on the dynopack. Now I am trying to decide between Z06, spec II or something else to put in the car (anyone ever hear of exedy?). I only drove it twice for a total of 6 minutes so far but I am taking it to Long Island tomorrow morn.
FLP's shop is virtually in my backyard. I had them put my B&B cat back system on a week ago and got a price for headers, ram air box, thermostat, tune and before and after dyno . Soon as the OD hits 2,000 miles back it goes to them. :steering:
Do the FLP's use the original O2 sensors (all four)? What is required for the installation as far as removal? How are the welds, are the earlier problems all fixed that they were having?
I put on my FLP LTs and Borla Stingers all at the same time. I love the exhaust! Sounds absolutely stunning, but my wife hates it and my neighbors have made several comments about the noise. Which leads me to believe I've definitely made the right decision! I haven't dynoed yet, but big SOTP difference.
The FLP's come with high flow cats AND off road straight pipes. If you use the cats, I am pretty sure u use the stock O2 sensors. When u use the straight pipes, u use the sims that come with the FLP package! :D I drove the car all day today and all day yesterday. I LOVE LONG TUBES!!!!! The xpipe really got rid of the burble when decellerating (which I happened to like) but I like the sound when rowing thru the gears much better now (I wouldn't have even thought that possible). I wonder why the factory doesn't send em off the production line with long tubes- they will pass emissions. If anyone is on the fence- DO IT! You will not regret it.
Its a different sound for sure......the xpipe and the headers all but eliminated the resonance I had with just the stingers. It is much louder from the midrange to redline now but at idle I think it's a little quieter (I have a sound decibal gizmo from radio shack for my home theater- lemme know if ya want me to take some readings).

Yes they use the original sensors, unless you decide to run catless.
As far as the install all you have to do is remove the stock system and the FLP bolts right up to the factory attach points.
I installed my set las July and fit and finsh was great
