just want to thank julio and dave @ cartek for the excellent tune on my 03 vette convert.
as we all know big cams in autos arent that easy but julio nailed this one down big time. my mods are patriot stage II heads ls6 style texas speed 231/237 cam on 112 lg offds vararam 160 stat and 3800 tci stall.
i also had them install 3:73 gear which really helps slower speed driving and of course excelleration. the 3:73 actually helped my fuel economy(not that i cared whole bunch) :crazy: :crazy: it did this by tightening up the converter and also allows the tranny to stay locked up more often.
for such a highly modded car it feel very docile at patrial throttle but get on it and becomes an animal, and i gotta thank cartek for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :troll :hat :p: :seeya :chevy :reddevil :auto: :grouphug: :party: :lurk:
cant wait to get to the track as i think it should run low 11's :cheers:

Did u get the cam to stop rolling and hunting Nick?
I remeber u comming by the shop (AtoZ) and asking me how to fix but I wasnt able to help other than iac counts (40 hot at idle).
Did Julio tweek it for u?

Hey Nick, glad to see you got the tune worked out with that stick! 3.73's are a good gear for that package you have. Next time I'm in PA (end of summer), I'll have to take a ride in your car and check it out... :cool:
