I'm insured with Adrian Flux - as the percentage power increase is not massive (approx 40%), it hasn't damaged it too badly. When I had a Stage III turbo system on my 1.8Turbo New Beetle, the performance increase was 120% increase!! That was BAD!! :D

So the 496 BHP on the Vortech is at the crank, right? That means (with 15% drivetrain loss) I'll be looking at 421.6 RWHP...
What exact mods do I need to see 500 RWHP?
What do I do to beef up the bottom end so I can crank up the boost?? :confused:

I know of someone who has had a string of problems with the Procharger on his C4. I suspect a lot of those were to do with heat buildup so you might want to consider using a heat extractor hood anyway. I agree with you that most of them don't do a lot for the looks of the car but the ACI high rise hood looks pretty good ! http://www.acivette.com/C5popup_b4.htm
