OK, all you longtube junkies out there. I thought I'd post and get your interests up again. I received my LG's today. Was going to put them on myself over the weekend, but decided to take the care to the mechanic on Monday, run a baseline first, them have them installed and run another one. You can bet I'll post good, bad or indifferent. Until then..... :smiliedrool:

Here are the results from my baseline dyno pulls this weekend. I'm including the A/F graph also as to show how rich/lean the car is running. As we know the A/F mixture can show higher/lower numbers depending on how lean/rich the car is running.

Do they record the data at the lower RPM's also, or only from about 4K up?

bgood, can you tell us how much gain you received with the dynatech headers over the pre-header number?

With an automatic it is difficult to get a dyno graph in the lower RPM bands. I know there will be a good bit of HP/TQ gain not represented on my chart in the lower RPM's due to the nature of the A4.

I got 330hp/340lbs to the wheels with Dynatech, Vortex, and Stingers.
Good Luck. My 5th pull was the best

I am having the same problem with LG Motorsports. No responses to my questions on shipping charges. I have e-mailed them on 3 different ocassions with no responses. It makes me wonder. I was definitely going with the LG's but now am having second thoughts.

RUGBY, is that with or without tuning?

TomsZ06, LG doesn't have a great record for internet communication (I'm sure their inbox is swamped), but there are many here who say Lou is a tremendously helpful guy if you just pick up the phone.

I'm still awaiting the arrival of my headers. I placed my order several weeks ago and they have not shown up at my door. Come to find out the supporting vendor I purchased the system from did not place my order until last week. :mad

This is killing me. I'd love to see some good header comparisons so I can get a set installed.

LG's = Probably the best, but far too pricey for the extra bit of power.
Kooks = Will get my $$ if LG can't post a decent price.
Dynatech = Possibly the perfect option to those of us who want the LG style and don't feel $600 warrants some extra low-end torque....we just need to see what they actually do.....
:banghead:

I'm not bashing LG. They were one of the few vendors in the past kind enough to visit the forum just for the sake of providing tech advice (not to sell parts), but I do think the LG bashing will stop once they offer competitive pricing. My .02

And sales volume jump considerably. It's a good product, just overpriced...maybe Borla doing the manufacturing has something to do with it? Front end costs on the contract, perhaps? Maybe once they've been out for awhile, price will be able to be dropped with LGM maintaining a decent profit margin. Hope so, because I then may get in line....unless of course this header comparison ever happens and someone else is right there on numbers, too.
