WTF-LG Header install question

LG Header install question
I get the passenger side header on and the AIR hose/bracket does not even come close to the header bracket where it is supposed to attach. Like 4 inches apart. I have a 2000 cpe.

Sounds like you might have gotton a set of 2001 and up headers.. It is possible to make it work if need be..

pre 01 the air tube goes to cyl #8

I wasn't happy with the fit even with the correct air tube.
took some messing around, but here's the results.

It doesn't look like it will effect drivability. I can just add the new pipe when I get it. Right???

Block off the headers and you can just leave them disconnected for now. I am, it is just a pump, which only works upon start-up for emmisions. You may need 02 simms to leave it off though. I did not throw any codes.

I have O2 sims, because I am not tuning it until later (therefore turning the sensors off. The AIR is still connected to the car, just not to the bracket.
Got the newer intake already!!!

Any car earlier than a 2001 sould be supplied with the 2001 + air tube. The salesman just needs to know your model year.

I talked to you earlier, got the AIR system blocked off. Austin said he's putting the AIR tube in the mail Monday.
These things sound great with my Corsa Indies. I can't wait until the Stingers get here and the cat-deletes.
My dad and I had a great time putting these in.
