Roger - when do you get the new tranny, intake, and TB installed? Hope you can get some runs with the new stuff before it starts warming up. Still waiting for track to open up here.
Intake and TB were in last week. We picked up about what everyone else seems to be getting with the intake/TB. We still have not dyno tuned it yet, but Jeff did some Edit garage tuning Friday night. It seemed to be running real rich and he cleared that up for now. He did one other tweak at the track after calling Sean at MMT.
The new tranny hopefully will be here tomorrow. I am calling FLP tomorrow to see if it is on it way. We are looking forward to San Antonio next weekend, although I am dog-tired now. We are going to stay at a motel Saturday night to be rested (mostly for my benefit!).
They did not start the event until the temps were on the rise, so we probably missed the window to get a 10.5X, but even then, our 60 fts were not very good. We had a lot more 1.5Xs than we were used to.
It was fun watching the guys interact (aka, friendly smack talk ) especially Gary, Mitch and Scott. IF the spectators did not know any better, they probably thought there was going to see a confrontation  in the pits.
We know the stock tranny is on its way out. We even preheated the fluids in the tranny to warm it up before the first run, but it still banged  the limiter hard on the 1-2 and maybe the 2-3. Jeff still ran a 10.8X and that was when the air was the best of the day!
Hopefully with the new tranny, we can be real aggressive on our shift points.
Update: Here are the other runs in the order we ran:
10.829 @ 128.46, 10.647 @ 127.08, 10.708 @ 126.86, 10.754 @ 128.63 and 10.822 @ 127.29 mph. There was also a 11.12 lifting early :D in one of the bracket runs.
