All I can say is buy the rotors from RockAuto.com or Napaonline.com for like $25 a rotor. I keep hearing about Autozone selling Performance Friction pads that have a lifetime warranty, so even if you rag on them, they'll keep replacing them. If you're doing the work yourself, you really can't beat that deal!

You can get the entire set of LOW DUST ceramic pads from Fred Beans for $145.99 shipped (the AC Delco's are supposedly identical to the Raybestos Quiet Stops) click here. Add in four new OEM rotors from NAPA (IF you need them)for about $100 and you can DIY for about $250.

edit:
You probably won't need this, but here is a link to the C5 procedure that someone posted a few months ago.

Just curious why you're replacing the rotors, are they scored or vibrating? If not, then I'd just replace the pads. Replacing the pads is a piece of cake, but getting the caliper brackets off/on is a bear, especially on jack stands (120 ft/lb on the bracket bolts  ).

Personally, I use the PFC pads from Autozone, but there are plenty of good pads out there to choose from. Hard to beat their lifetime warrenty policy, though.

HTH, and have a good one,
Mike
