Ok, I had a topic on this a few weeks ago. Since then I raise my rear end 1/2" because my "rake" was dead flat and some suggested maybe the front wsn't loading quickly enough.
Anyway, this is still a problem and I'm thinking it is a component issue. I tried cleaning the contacts on the speed sensor. Is that the only piece that the ABS uses at the wheel?
It is definitely my front right wheel that kicks in and you can really feel it. At 35MPH I can half load the brakes and it kicks in.
Any thought? Bad Wheel Sensor? Isn't it in the hub and is 1 piece. Any other thoughs would be greatly appreciate. I had this problem with my stock brakes, but my Wilwoods seem to make it worse.
How do you disable ABS. I want to see what happens.
I'm going to LG tomorrow, so maybe I'll get Lou to ride in it and tell me what he thinks.
Pull the fuse. Then you will know if you are getting premature lockup on the right front wheel. Maybe the ABS is preventing a problem Vs being the problem.
On a 97 the fuse is the ABS fuse. It is a 40 Amp fuse #52. Also pull the ABS/RTDELEC fues which is a 20 amp fuse #53.

Do you have ABS only or do you have Active Handling too? If so, maybe AH is not working correct. ABS opens the caliper, AH closes the caliper.
Just an idea.
What happens when you brake slowly? Does the front right block or does it the ABS pulsating feature?

Just a try: can you lift the right side so the tire can turn free, then push the brake, take off your foot and look if the wheel is turning free or if the wheel is blocked after this? Maybe the caliper piston cannot move free?
