I am having new motor being built right now and i elected to use yella terra rockers vs. stock now i am reading that there are some problems with these. I have ordered TSP magic stick rev 2 and was having the engine built with intentions of being able to take it to 7k no problem should i change my chose of rockers. I was looking at patriots new shaft mounted rocker would these be better than yella terra or will they work fine. Just getting a little worried now don't want to waste anymore money.
A properly designed and executed shaft-mounted rocker arm should be superior to a stud-mounted one. The thing to look for is a good set of trunion bearings, a roller tip, and an aluminum body with enough rigidity.
