I'm possible thinking of changing my valve springs.
How many hours of labor is it usually?
Does the intake have to come off because I many switch to an
LS6 intake? Any info would be great?
This is the best description I've seen for how to do this type of project. I've not yet done this myself, but I've been studying this sight for when I do attempt to do this.

Well, some people on this forum "claim" to do it in a 1/2 hour. Since this is your first time, I would allocate about 4 hours if you are doing them on the car (heads not removed). Take your time since you do not want that valve to drop inside the cylinder.
It is a real PITA..
