Hardened Pushrods worth $100?

I will be using Comp921's on a cam with .581 lift. Looking for opinions of the valve of $100 hardened / chrome moly pushrods. Are chrome moly the same as hardened ? Are LS6 and LS1 pushrods the same quality? What causes them to bend? :confused:

I'm not sure if there is a difference between LS1/6 pushrods, but I can tell you that while you have the top end apart you might as well spend the extra $$ on hardened pushrods that will only take 1 full minute to drop in. Besides you are spending money on a good cam and springs so play it safe. Ususally, the combination of stiff springs and a high lift cam will cause pushrods to bend easily. :cheers:

:iagree: With those springs and the higher lift cam you want the hardened pushrods. The stockers won't hold up.
