I hit a pot hole in NYC (and got a $115 parking ticket) and now I have a large lump on the front left tire wall. The tires are original and have 8k miles on them. Can I just replace the one or should I replace the other side too? Thems real expensive!!!
that why you shouldn't drive the vette in the city, Always amazes me when I see ferrari 360's or the like parked in a garage in the city I say why why why abuse it on these roades. To answer your question if the wear isn't too bad just replace one. I would just replace the one I doubt your fronts wore that quickly. just compare tred depth of existing to a new tire. :seeya

I hope you didn't bend the rim. I hit a pot hole on I-40 about a month ago, It put a bubble in the front tire. I bought a new tire and when they balanced it we discovered the rim was bent. I went home and took the rear tire and rim off and that also was bent. After all was said and done......$850.00 :nonod:
