Having trouble Idleing...
With my new head and cam set-up i have had some trouble idleing, it is going very low like 600-650. Then it will just die... I have had it dyno tuned so i dont think the computer is the problem... I think will drill the throttle body a little bit, are there any problems with that? Are there any quick fixes? BTW this problem is only with idleingabove 1500 rpm I am fine...
Thanks in advance!
I wouldn't drill the throttle body,at least not until I had the tuner re-check the car.it may need alittle refining to your tune.I would only drill the throttle body as a last resort. :chevy :chevy :flag :chevy :chevy
I do not think I would go bigger right away if the 7/32 does not help. I would suggest going back to the tuner at that point or even before if you can get there first.
Cartek and ECS have both dyno tuned my car with the hole in TB plate. To my knowledge there is no downside but others more experienced may chime in otherwise and ten we would all know.
