Default Lay down radiator

I know Andy at A&A does it, but does anyone else know how? I'm in the process of buying all the parts to swap out my lower radiator support, the one that scrapes the ground all the time, and I'd like to lay down the radiator so I can use a round pipe instead of the air bridge like this guy did:

If you know how to do it, please share your knowledge. I'm also buying the A&A frame savers and rocker skid plates.

All you need to do is cut the crossbar that the radiator sits on off as carefully as possible (cut it so its as long as possible). Then move it forward about 4", it should like up with the set of holes in the support subframe where the little plastic spoiler used to be. Now tack weld it in place. Set the radiator in and cut the sides of the plastic radiator support on top (the plastic piece that supports the top of the radiator) so that it seats on the radiator. Writing all this makes it sound more complicated. Basically cut off the support the radiator sits on and move it forward enough to lower the radiator to where you want it to be. Modding the top plastic piece will be selfexplanatory when you look at it. Your hoses will need to be lengthened. Andy can tell you the NAPA part numbers of hoses to splice in with your stock ones to provide additional length.
