Cartek 2x cam.
Thinking about trading out my Cartek 2x cam for the 3x cam but don't want to mess up a good thing. My car is running very strong right now. My friends 3x cam on a H/C car was surprisingly not too radical and idled similar to mine.(which I like) Not ready to do the heads yet so I'm antsy to do something. Got my hands on a 78 mm fast as well so Ill need tuning anyway. Any thoughts? Thanks

My advice would be that a 78mm FAST is useless.
get a 90 even for a cam only car
saw a TA on the dyno last week that was cam only pick up exactly 0hp with the 78mm

You are the only Z06 on this forum that i have seen run a high 10 sec pass with bolt ons and cam only and in say if it ain't broke don't fix it. I say save your money for your next mods, ie-heads, etc. and enjoy what you got-one kick azz FAST street/strip Z06! :cheers:

I'll let you know next week , when we dyno it again , hopefully with the fuel system issues worked out .I personally don't care if it dynos 510 or 550 , as long as it runs hard at the track , dyno #'s don't mean sh$t to me .

Yeah, i'm like that too... dynos don't mean poopie, Im just curious what a 441 will dyno at becasue i plan on going super big cubes in the future also... but the numbers are fun to look at :smash:
