I have a 2001 and the darn right rear tire reading keeps indicating a 6 pound under inflation on the message panel. I've checked using two different instruments and they indicate there's no differential compared to the other three tires. Bad sending unit on the right rear, perhaps?
Thanks,
Don
The TPS's on the C5s are very fickle.
It's possible it could be going bad.
But first you need to reprogram it and see if that corrects it.

Go to Walmart, to the aquarium supply section. Look for a "Magnetic Algae Cleaner" ($4.99). It is a pair of strong magnets; each encased in black plastic with a felt pad on one side. They are stuck together in the package. Just take them out and use them stuck together, and you have a very strong magnet which will do the job. I just did this earlier tonight and it worked great. Took about 5 seconds per wheel :)
