I'm seriously considering getting a set of Stainless Works Headers installed on my 01 Coup. These headers don't get much attention on this forum. Anyone using them? Comments? I'm told they are extremely well constructed.
I am using them and I like them a lot. They are constucted very well, were easy to install, and have never thrown a code. With an LS6 manifold and no tune I picked up 31rwhp and 34rwtq with the setup I have. They also come with a limited lifetime guarantee. :)

:iagree: :yesnod: :yesnod:
Love mine and never a code!
I have the Stainless Works exhaust package including headers, 3" Random Tech Cats and X-pipe and have been extremely satisfied with the fit, finish, and performance. The car has the aggressive sound I wanted, but cruises the highway with minimal resonance, even with the Stingers. :hurray:
I, too, have the Stainless Works headers and intermediate pipes and X pipe with Random cats. It picked up some good power and sound. I have Corsa Indys for the mufflers.
I like my SW setup. They haven't given me any problems. IMHO, the only better exhaust system is LGM's long tube headers & intermediate pipes.
Hope your set come with the o2's tap'd on both sides......... be sure to check that before you have them on the car.......
Other than that....... yep there headers, I have never seen a header not perform on a LS1 or LS6 as far as long tubes go. Stainless is the way to go as far as material.
Are these Headers 1 3/4" or 1 78" they look nice! :seeya
The Stainless Works headers for the C5 have 1 3/4" 16 guage primary tubes with cnc laser cut 3/8" flanges. Also here is an image of their center section:
I have Stainless Works headers on my 02 vert and really like them. With a Blackwing and a dyno tune the car puts out 330 rwhp. and the sound with Corsa Indys is awesome. The headers are so beautiful it's a shame to hide them in the engine compartment. Stainless Works used to have a higher profile on the Forum - maybe they have enough business?
I just got the full 3-inch system for my car to go with my new Kooks 1-7/8 headers , they made me a custom system with special ultra hi-flo mufflers that I'll be testing out , I dealt with Al Noe directly , he's a great guy to work with , very helpful ,and I look forward to working with him in the future .
I have the complete Stainless Works setup on my car, right from the headers to the tailpipes. I have their long tube headers, 3" stainless center X section, and 3" high flow muffler system. I am very happy with the fit, performance and sound of this system. The 3" diameter gives a nice deep rumble to the car. Also, the lifetime warranty with all SW products is a bonus.
If anyone is interested in more information or pricing on Stainless Works products, please drop me an email!

Nice setup, wouldn't mind hearing a soundfile, or see a 1/4 mile vid on that puppy!

here is me and a friend on a deserted 10 mile straight road goofing off. stainless works headers, no cats and borla stingers. no n2o was used in the production of this vid. :) 2 things I want to point out though--1, I'm not a drag racer (or street racer for that matter) and 2, that little srt4 is pretty fast. http://www.xquizitrecords.com/SRT/Ro...%20RedGump.wmv
