A friend has a front spings that's coming apart for some reason. Wants to just replace it with a stock spring.
A: Anyone have one lying around for sale from any mods or upgrades they have done?
B: What's it take to change. Looks relatively easy. I've done rear gears and torque converters so dropping the front suspension looks easy enough.
Sel you a front and rear for $100 plus shipping from Michigan. Off a 2000 M6 Vert with 30k on it. Perfect condition( not delaminating!). I want to get the whole set out of the garage. I put on Z06 springs all around. Relatively easy job. Just drop the spindles and sway bar ends. I differed from the LS1 tech hopw to in that I just dropped the bottom A arm and pushed 'em down to yank out the spring. I didn't want to take off the whole darn upper A Arm. LS1Tech way probably just as easy tho' --- keep an eye on the shims and where they go! :flag
