Battery pad?
Just read the topic about leaking GM battery. I changed out my battery last fall (put an Optima red top). Was lucky, the old one hadn't leaked yet. My question is are there pads you can put under the battery to catch spillage or prevent disaster in the future? Thanks folks, Guy :flag :flag

Try going to a boat shop and picking up a battery case.they aren't very expensive and that would take care of the leaking battery.They run between$20 -35.well worth the money.Take the dimensions of the battery with you as they do come in different sizes.Hope this helps. :chevy :chevy :flag :chevy :chevy

If you have an Optima in now, you don't have to worry about leaking acid.
By the way, an acid pad or small tray may not help for a leaking battery since when they leak the acid often runs down the battery cables.
