I was just looking for some input on the SLP MA sensor. I will be revamping my induction system with Zo6 manifold, Halltech bridge and Supermaxx headers.
I picked up the SLP on ebay pretty cheap and with all Iv'e heard about the Granatelli I wonder if there's any point in changing from stock.
Any input on the SLP would be appreciated.
Re: SLP Mass air sensor, does anyone have one ? (James G)
I installed an SLP MAF and Blackwing at the same time, I didn't see much performance gain. But when I installed a Z06 intake afterward, and removed the SLP MAF screen, there was a huge SOTP performance change.
I think the MAF works well in conjunction with a few other efficiency upgrades, but if you plan on going into LT headers, cam, or heads; from what I've read here in the forum, you're going to have to go back to a stock MAF to achieve the proper tuning.
Make sure you set the stock MAF aside just in case.
