How difficult is it to wire up? Does it come with complete instructions to do this? Does this system come in beofre, after or replace your cats? Thanks, Kaley
I have them and I didn't find them difficult to wire up. I cut a hole under the rear of the middle storage compartment (I have a Z06) and ran the wire to the center console plastic cover that has the traction control button on it. I cut a hole in the area where you place your fingers to pull open the center storage compartment and that's were I have the open/close cutout button. I had the cutout Y pipe placed after the cats, right before the rear axle. Which cutouts do you have? I have the McCords (I think that's the name) and had a few problems with them sticking or not wanting to open. I placed some high temperature bearing grease on the pin/torque tube that opens/closes the cutouts and have not had any problems with them getting stuck. I hope this helps.
I do not have them yet. I was going to get the the QTP cutouts. How much do the ones that you have cost? Do you have pictures of them installed? Thanks, Kaley
