no they didn't, no cutting at all, and everything works like it should....and thanks, even if you didn't like the looks, I'm sure you would have refrained from saying so ;)

I will also add that our local IHRA track had a national inspector this weekend and he was all over my car before I went down the track, managed a couple of 11.8s and I passed with flying colors :)

I wish the IHRA tracks were closer..I am just going to get a hard top, again not NHRA legal, but the track will let me run. I am not that interested in going into the 11's. I would be very happy in the mid-low 12's.
I am not trying to put anyone down or say one vendors work is better than an others. I am just providing information. I just want people to understand that what they are getting may not be legal. It would really suck to spend the cash and cut up a perfectly good car only to find out you aren't legal.
I worked w/the same guy who did MajorSpray's Roll Cage. MajorSpray's car is one of the few that are completely legal. He told me all of the trouble he had getting Paul's car to meet NHRA spec.
The NHRA doesn't like Vettes. The basically plastic body on a frame freaks them out and causes all kinds of concern (I don't think we have a metal firewall). If it were up to them all Vettes would require a Roll Cage, even the Z06. That thing is basically a convertible with a Hard Top.
When it comes down to it, the NHRA doesn't like Vette's.
Good Luck All..I think this thread has had enough...If anyone is curious about the trials and tribulations of a real legal rollbar in a vert. Feel free to email me and I can tell you the story, or just ask MajorSpray.

Thanks, and I do have a sticking clutch issue now, but I know I'll be getting some quality seat time soon and as for the 12s, you know power is addicting, I can point to several people who were going to be happy with 12s, and now they're in the 10s :D
