Need help with C5 electrical
My pass. window will not work sometimes. The door locks also stop at the same time. When this happens I get DIC's Reduce engine PWR and several other messages. It sounds like a short or fuse...any help?

Sorry, I am not good at electrical work,,,,know how to hook up a stereo..that is about it....

I am not an expert, but I have read reports that when the right door control module goes bad that it can effect the computer and potentially shut down the engine.
The recommendation was to unplug the right door control module and see if the car runs normally. It will throw codes about no communication with the right door module but this is to be expected.
If the computer runs normally and no codes other than the loss of communication with the door control module then plug it back in and see if the problems return.
also check the wires where they go from the door into the body and the connect to the door control module.
If the wires are all ok then you may need to replace the door control module.

Now that helps, I posted in general and got some tips also, but yours makes alot of sence. My dealership always wants to keep it for days and then I always see some tech screamming around town in my car on a so called test drive......so I like to try to do things my self
