It seems that the misfire code (P0300) was a result of my having the O2 sensors in the wrong sides. I re-installed them as I took them out but this is not correct. The driver side has to go to the driver side and pass. side......
It was a PITA as the clearance from the top of the sensor just about touches the under tray. So took it out for a ride and all is well and it sounds great and the SOTP meter says definitely more power & torque :D
I did the whole install by myself and well, it was a pretty intensive job! Some notes though that don't go along directly with some other things I have read are: passenger side from the top and you do not need to un-bolt the starter.
I also had to put the drivers side in from the top as I did this on jack stands, so I had to take out the alternator to make way. I probably have 14 hours total on this project so I am on my way to go enjoy it!!
Let me add a big thanx to Lou and the guys at LGM as they fielded no less than 3-4 phone calls from me during this!!
