If you're only swapping differentials, it's quite easy since you don't have to pull the torque tube or transmission.
There is enough allowance for tilting the drive line down, and simply unbolting the carrier.

I also used Mike's how-to, and it worked very well (Thanks). I did the tilt method and it worked fine. With a good helper this can be done in about six hours on jack stands. If you have a lift then you may be able to do it in four. Go for it, it is not that bad, I would do it again for sure.
